What is the BES PTO Project Fund?
During the 2018-19 school year, we had been raising money to update our library. Things changed heading into the 2019-20 school year and we adjusted to use that money for the library and new PE requirements, then the COVID19 pandemic hit, so we are adjusting again! As of June 2020, the Project Fund still has approximately $3500. The money is being used by the principal for whatever she deems the school is in most need of - and we will continue to update here so that it remains transparent where the money is being spent.

Here is what this money has paid for so far in 2019-2020...
* Funding of the start-up of StarBooks, the new shop where the students can spend the "BooksBucks" they earn through modeling positive behaviors (PBIS) - including purchasing table & chairs, shelving, books, and small purchasable items (bookmarks, pencils, erasers).
* Purchasing newsletter writing software for principal
* Curriculum Night prizes to encourage families to explore the different classroom curriculums
* Multicultural books for the library
* WallBall and playground signs
*Teacher Appreciation during Distance Learning
