Eat Out fundraising event, all day Saturday,
March 12th @ Miget's Island Grill and Island Vibe in Forest
Grove. Leave the cooking to someone else and enjoy lunch/dinner from
Miget's Island Grill and/or treat your family/yourself to smoothies, acai
bowls, espresso or cold brew from Island Vibe! You do not need to
bring/show anything, simply purchase and enjoy, knowing 20% of sales will be
donated back to Banks Elementary School PTO to support our teachers and
students!
Our
students have been making art for our upcoming Square 1 Art Fundraiser. We will be sending home
catalogues on March 11th with items you can purchase featuring your child’s
artwork. Those items will arrive the first week of May, just in time for
Mother’s Day.
Come join
us for the monthly meetings! Our March meeting will be held in the BES
cafeteria on the 9th at 6pm. If you are unable to
attend the monthly meetings you will find the meeting minutes posted on our
website: bespto.blogspot.com The website also gives you access to
newsletters, budgets, and other information about PTO activities. Please don’t
hesitate to contact the board about any questions or comments you may have.
All BES volunteers will need to have passed a background
check even if they are volunteering outside of regular school hours. The front
office has background check forms to fill out and to return to the office
before volunteering. Or you can go to http://www.helpcounterweb.com/welcome/apply.php?district=banks to fill out the background check
electronically.
Due to COVID regulations all BES volunteers will also need to
show proof of vaccination. Proof can be brought when you volunteer or can be
emailed to: maryjok@banks.k12.or.us or marjories@banks.k12.or.us .

directly to BES and our children's education. The PTO provides funding for
field trip busing, technology improvements, classroom supplements, updated
textbooks, and much, much more. Please
help us do all we can to improve our school, help our teachers, and enhance the
education our children receive.

The BES PTO is 501c3 Charitable Organization so all cash

Employee Matching Programs
Many companies, like Intel and Nike, give matching donations
for volunteer hours you spend at our school. Please ask your employer if they
