Snack Donations
The Banks Elementary PTO believes every child deserves the energy to learn and grow. While Banks Elementary requests that families send their children with daily snacks, we understand that this isn't always possible due to varying circumstances.
To help ensure all students have access to nutritious snacks, the PTO has created an Amazon wishlist.
This wishlist features approved snacks (nut-free, low-sugar, etc.) that teachers can provide to students if needed. By purchasing items from this list, you'll be directly supporting students who might otherwise go without.
Your contribution, no matter how small, makes a significant difference in helping every student at Banks Elementary thrive. Thank you for your support!

Q. Do I have to purchase through Amazon?
A. No. You may find better pricing or more convince purchasing the same snacks somewhere else. Feel free to deliver donations to the front office of the school during open hours on school days. Let the front desk know its for the "Snack Department". Additionally you can help let us know of the purchase by using the link on Amazon marked "Buying this gift elsewhere?" under the "Add to Cart" button! This helps track the total number of snacks coming as to not overload the school with too many snacks at one time.
Q. I purchased snacks, but the list still shows the same "Needs" number. What happened?
A. Your purchase worked and is greatly appreciated!. The Amazon app only shows the "Needs" number for some reason. We have contacted Amazon about it and hopefully they will add in the "Has" number. Until then, you can click the "Buying this gift elsewhere?" link, and it shows the number desired, or how many remaining. You can also view on a Desktop/Laptop and it shows both the "Needs" and "Has" numbers.

Q. Where do I ship snacks?
A. The wishlist will automatically send the snacks to Banks Elementary during days/times the school is staffed.
Q. If I purchase snacks from the list can I skip sending snacks with my child?
A. No, we ask that you continue to send snacks for your child whenever possible.
Q. Can I request snacks go to my child's classroom?
A. No, snacks are shared with the entire school.
Q. Why are there limits on how many snacks are needed? Can I buy more than what is needed?
A. There is limited space for storing snacks. Our goal is to supply snacks throughout the year to avoid storage issues
Q. All the snacks are purchased, when will I have a chance to donate snacks again?
A. We are coordinating with the school and will ask for snacks again as needed. We will post on our Facebook page as well, so be sure to follow us there!
Q. Can I buy a snack not on the wishlist?
A. We ask you stick to the wishlist as they are approved (ie not processed in a factory with nuts, low sugar), but you can share suggestions with the PTO bankselementarypto@gmail.com
Q. Can I buy personal items and snacks in the same order?
A. Yes, Amazon allows you to deliver to multiple addresses. Be sure to change each personal item to ship to your desired location. Alternatively you can make 2 separate purchases.
